Amazon's Kindle is an increasingly popular device for those who don't mind reading books electronically; with the device having its own book store and now beginning to sell internationally it doesn't have much competition. A new update brings some improvements such as an 85% battery life increase. As posted on Amazon's site the update is for the newest Kindle and features two main improvements which were developed over about 6 months of testing and re-evaluation of the current firmware. First of which there is now a native .PDF reader helping people to read documents of that format without having to convert them.
