The effects on our business is devestating. Besides the fact that you can't call people yourself people can't be called either. Our economy has become dependent on mobile phones to work at least our business certainly did. Even when you have the landline of people you will find that the people on the other end of the twine are not there and that nobody has a clue how to get a hold of someone else. I think this is partially due to the fact that people blindly assume that mobile phones will always work but to a large extent it comes down to doing business at a much faster pace. At current times people expect calls to be returned quickly expect to be able to arrange the logistics of a large project abroad today expect tenders to be returned within the matter of days. That requires an effective operation not a crippled one.
Luckily Vodafone decided to compensate all its customers: we can all use SMS for flee in the first weekend of December. That really compensates for a huge contract being lost.....
