MetroPCS Communications Inc. the leading wireless carrier that offers unlimited flat-rate no signed contract services announced recently the launch of a new mobile phone for its subscribers the Samsung Code. The new handset is the first smartphone powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system the carrier adds to its offering and is set to provide a wide range of productivity and organization capabilities to those who are on the go most of the time. The Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system on MetroPCS’ Samsung Code comes with the entire Microsoft suite of tools such as contacts calendar tasks notes voice recorder and Windows Live features. Moreover the handset also sports the optional WizPro interface that enables users to perform customizations for their home screen as well as to create shortcuts to the apps and features they use the most including messages calendar appointments and more.
