Motorola's first mobile phone powered by Google's Android operating system the Motorola Cliq is now available for purchase for T-Mobile customers. The price tag for the device has been set at $199 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement yet only existing T-Mobile customers can benefit from the proffer at the moment while others will have to wait until November 2 for the phone to become available for purchase.
The new Android-based device comes with a 3.1-inch splay that sports a 320 x 480 pixel resolution includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus geo tagging and picture editing Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Wi-Fi 802.11 bg and MicroUSB 2.0 high-speed connectivity options built-in GPS receiver a 3.5mm audio jack proximity sensor and ambient bright sensor as well as a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The handset has been already launched in Europe via Orange under the name of Dext and T-Mobile announced not too long ago that it would release it on November 2.
